This series displays the variety of biodiversity that I encounter on my walks in nature in Northeast Louisiana.

I am grateful to Charles, my husband, and to the late Andy Luck, our friend, to be able to share with you my experiences of nature around us here in Louisiana. My goal is to share my enthusiasm of nature and the happiness that it brings me. I will give regular reports of winged, scaled, fuzzy and furry creatures, with a picture or two, a few facts, and my experience of what I have encountered on my adventure. In 2019, Charles and I officially became “naturalists” with the Louisiana Master Naturalists of Northeast Louisiana and I feel that I would be greedy if I didn’t try to impart some of the knowledge that I have learned and am learning. Thank you for reading and I hope you have as much fun (and perhaps less bug bites) as I do!

Best wishes to you and yours,

Kimberly Chason Paxton
