Recently we purchased an Omax 40-2500 compound microscope and have enjoyed looking at some samples that we collected. These are all light field views, we haven’t yet used the dark field condenser. The image of a lichen structure includes a scale, each small division marks 0.01mm. The pond water is occupied by the tadpoles of Gastrophryne carolinensis and these worm-like forms maybe parasitic nematodes.
