The film features extracts from interviews with four distinguished educators and includes their recollections of life in Union Parish schools. It was filmed on Panasonic cameras and edited with Cyberlink’s new PowerDirector 16.

The History of education in Union Parish is being celebrated this Autumn in the Union Museum of History and Art. The exhibition was sponsored by Janet Fortenberry of State Farm Insurance, Farmerville and is being held in memory of the late John Earl Ellis — devoted Union Parish teacher, principal, mentor and school board member, RIP.
