American Alligators can be very territorial and are known to be actively defensive of their ‘turf’, but did you know that they give off a powerful spicy odour when riled up? Wildopeneye witnessed this at Brazzos Bend State Park in S.E.Texas recently. The low-hanging, spanish moss festooned live oak forest, river and adjacent lakes of this State Park are one of the best places to observe native wildlife including crocodillian behaviour.
