Interpol’s contribution on Wildlife Day reminds us that the fight is on!
World Wildlife Day dawned. Met dusk. Then midnight saw it off.
Few people noticed it come or go. Every day is a world ‘something’ day. Hugh Paxton’s Blog suspects there soon won’t be any days left unclaimed! Probably aren’t already. Having a day is a great idea. Claiming it on the world’s behalf is a bit cocky.
Our days are becoming a bit congested! In India I noted that there is a World sparrow day. This good idea of naming days is likely to founder because of overcrowding. Then somebody will think of months! Only twelve unclaimed – move fast say I!
INTERPOL noted World Wildlife Day.
